Very soon, the day of revenge finally arrived......Everything was ready and in place for the attack on Skull Island. No holding back now. Not now, not ever. Not for those acursed pirates...

That very evening, Ulysses' voice had spoken through the communication link between some of the most major officers of the Armada, including Valdus' -

"Muster at the docks at sundown, the time has came to launch the Final Cleansing."

The Final Cleansing...the attack that would wipe the Spiral of those disgusting pirates.

[Valdus Devereaux]

Upon hearing the order, Valdus couldn't help but grin beneath his mask. It was finally time for them-- the Armada-- to do what should have been done long ago. Rid the Spiral of the more vile scum in the skyways, the pirates.

And he couldn't be more glad to be taking part in it.

[Ulysses Septimus]

By the time the forces had gathered, it became clear that Ulysses was to ensure the pirates never saw the next sunraise, as there weren't just clockworks, but also white clad Assassins as well as the fearsome elite Rooke, and the cyborg marine captain Sentus Optimus.

"I want the next sunraise over Skull Mountain to shine on ruins and corpses of those scum."

[Valdus Devereaux]

He stood still at attention with the rest, listening silently to the new Supreme Commander, though he was completely agreeing with his words. Hell, with the rage he was feeling now, he felt like he could wipe out every single pirate single-handedly.

[Ulysses Septimus]

((Awww, okay. What time zone are you in, by the way?(Just respond when you get back xP)))

((I'm in US Mountain time and sorry I took so long! D8))

Once he had finished speaking to the troops, Ulysses made a singular gesture with his arm, one that commanded his soldiers to board the ships and prepare to begin the slaughter.

[Valdus Devereaux]

All soldiers immediately followed the order and boarded the ships. Each one immediately got to their respective position, ready to depart.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses stood at the helm of the Malevolence, his flagship that had only been given to him upon his promotion to Armada Admiral -

"Terminate any and all who try to resist take prisoners only when needed."

[Valdus Devereaux]

And with that, all the ships set sail to seal the fate of their destination and the people in it...

Skull Island.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses was the first one to step onto the doomed island as the ships docked, his masked gaze scanning over his troops only for a second before he raised his hand in the signal for them to begin marching -

"Captain Commander Militus Sentus." The Supreme Commander whispered through the comm link clipped to his collar. "Ensure that the traitor to Valencia - Morgan Lafitte - does not live to see another sunraise."

[Valdus Devereaux]

'Morgan Lafitte....I believe I know who that is.'

"Understood. She will be eliminated immediately." The officer whispered back through his own comm link. He then led his own troops onwards in a march through the populace, towards where the traitor was taking refuge at.

[Ulysses Septimus]

It was as though someone set off an alarm in the very moment, as pirates suddenly emerged from everywhere with their weapons, ready to fight to the death.

And death is exactly what they shall receive.

[Valdus Devereaux]

Upon seeing their enemies, Valdus smirked behind his mask and gave his troops the command to kill as he drew his axe for combat.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Three pirates charged immediately toward him, as two others ran toward Ulysses: chaos reigning the area as the bloody battle at last begun.

[Valdus Devereaux]

'Let's see how capable these pirates really are.'

He waited until the moment they were just close enough before swinging his axe horizontally at them, aiming to slice at least one in half.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Instantly, one of the pirates - a swashbuckler by the looks - was bisected, lengths of slippery internals spilling out onto the sands as his life ended within mere moments.

Immediately, the buccaneer of the group leapt forward, aiming to tackle Valdus to the ground.

[Valdus Devereaux]

Before the buccaneer could touch him, he swung the non-bladed side of his weapon at the pirate.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Thud, the blade connected with the buccaneer's torso, as he was thrown off balance; sprawling across the ground and directly before the feet of the cyborg marine Sentus Optimus.

The cyborg's one good human eye and his cybernetic eye met Valdus' for that one split second in a silent question.

This one is yours..?

[Valdus Devereaux]

He gave a very small shake of his head, barely noticeable except to the cyborg, then turned his attention to the third pirate.

Was it his goal to kill the most pirates? No. He just wanted them all dead one way or another.

[Ulysses Septimus]

The moment Valdus turned away, the sound of Sentus' halberd whistling through the air could be heard, followed by the sound of a skull being split open like a melon -

The third pirate, a privateer, held out his sword with what looked like shaken determination.

"I will end you here, clockwork scum! Both you and your master!"

[Valdus Devereaux]

Beneath his mask, Valdus held a blank face. Boy, he's heard that line many times before....Either way, he held his axe ready to strike.

If the pirate was as brave as he says, then he would attack first. Then again, that would mean he was as dumb as the rest-- Another swing of his axe would easily end this pathetic pirate's life.

[Ulysses Septimus]

With that, the privateer lunged toward him, sword out and aimed at his throat.

And here is where he made his fatal mistake.

Far too obvious, making it easy to block and counterstrike.

[Valdus Devereaux]

And that is exactly what the captain commander did. As the blade was near hitting his throat, he snapped his arm out and grabbed the privateer's arm, then thrusted the blade of his axe to his torso.
