Re: World-Valencia
"Of course," Sydney replied, pushing her hair behind her shoulders, "Let me purge the filth that ruins the perfection of the Armada."
Re: World-Valencia
"Excellent, "the admiral lead them to another room, this one filled with all sorts of weaponry, "pick a weapon, then we will leave immediately."
There were the classic halberd and shield sets o the Marine, rifles, the Battle Angel sets, Dragoon sets, though none of them stood out as much as the giant poleaxe in the corner: its blade was in the form of the letter omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet since it would be the last thing its victim would see.

((It's fine ))
She drank it in with her eyes for a while, these wonderfully, perfectly engineered tools of destruction, before striding over to the corner and hefting the omega - shaped poleaxe into her hands, smiling at its feel and weight.
"I think...this one will do nicely."

Re: World-Valencia
"Excellent,"Ulysses nodded in approval, "now let us leave, shall we? Each in our own ships."
Re: World-Valencia
"Yes, of course, we must eradicate this pirate ship as soon as possible." Sydney agreed, starting to walk towards the docks where the two Armada ships were located before turning back around suddenly.
"This pirate ship...is there a specific location that it is usually in, or will we have to pursue it?"

Re: World-Valencia
"It's a clever one, changing locations whenever its hideout is discovered,"Ulysses' hands were on the dual swords by his side, "so I'm afraid we might have to give chase, but still, I believe they are no match against the might of the Armada..."
He stopped at the gangplank of the "Interceptor", "Oh and Commodore? I'd like to say one last thing before the mission begins: those pirates, they don't even deserve to be called "human", they are filthy animals that pose a hindrance to the perfect domination of the Spiral by the Armada, a hindrance to domination by perfect beings like us... Don't you agree?

Re: World-Valencia
"A stain on our perfect Spiral," Sydney had replied without hesitation, as she was simply stating a fact. "I'd say that such stains need to be wiped out."
Re: World-Valencia
"Yes, and preferably as soon as possible."Ulysses walked up the gangplank, only turning his back when she too boarded her ship "The Destroyer".
"Let's go."
"Let's go."
Re: World-Valencia
"Of course. I shall follow your lead, as I do not know the patterns of these particular pirates as you do. It would be the most efficient way."
She walked to the center of the deck, facing her delightfully large clockwork crew.
"Prepare to set sail. Today, we eradicate another for the glory of the Armada." And she watched in satisfaction as the clockwork marines and musketeers mechanically saluted her before immediately going off to perform the necessary tasks.
Sydney looked over her left shoulder at Decimus, her glorious new edition, and over her right at Quintus, who was the only thing that had stayed constant with her throughout her dramatic transformation from a stain on the Armada's perfect name to one of their valuable assets.
Yes, I've certainly gotten somewhere, haven't I?

Re: World-Valencia
Ulysses nodded, snapping his fingers at his puppet of a lieutenant, "Very well."
The "Interceptor" eased itself out of Cadiz with a speed that allowed the "Destroyer" to follow.
Sailing through Aragon Skyway, the "Interceptor" stopped only far enough for the pirate ship, or more exactly, two ships, to not see them and thus unable to reach them with their guns.
"So they've brought a friend, eh?"Ulysses growled, "let them taste the triple guns, Captain Optimus, but only cripple them!"
Optimus followed his command and snapped off one of his own to the Dragoons and Marines currently occupying the deck.
Meanwhile, back on the "Destroyer", Decimus looked at his Commander, awaiting her order as the other frigate opened fire at the pirates.

Re: World-Valencia
"Oh, a twist, hmm?" Sydney said, copying Ulysses' actions and ordering the marines of her crew to ready the guns while she and her remaining musketeers waited up on deck in silent anticipation, waiting, waiting for that one excuse to go absolutely ballistic.
Standing slightly behind and to the right of the newly-appointed Commodore Underhill, Quintus had somewhat of a blurred image of his Commander. He, having served under the privateer Sydney Underhill for quite some time, had definitely been changed by being exposed to such a violent and turbulent human, and in order to best execute his commands, he had to, as she had put it, 'adapt', meaning he had to be able to understand and interpret her emotions.
To be able to do that, one had to have emotion themselves, Quintus had soon found out.
So he had learned and taken on the necessary amount needed in order to carry out his Commander's will. However, he wasn't about to notify anyone of that.
Glancing over at Decimus, who stood directly to his left, Quintus knew that during those ten months under the service of Sydney Underhill, he had let himself become far, far too vulnerable, and if he did not watch himself very carefully, there would be consequences.

Re: World-Valencia
The "Interceptor" soon crippled the ship on the right with its superior range and fire power, allowing Sentus to steer the ship close enough for combat onboard, while leaving the other ship damaged but still enough of a challenge to the "Destroyer", though its guns were next to useless as the "Destroyer" is out of its reach.
But... The "Destroyer" had it within perfect firing range...
Leaving Sydney to deal with the other ship--Ulysses had full confidence in her--he gave a ear-splitting battle scream and leapt onto the pirate ship, his swords drawn, followed by his crew of clockworks.
Let the bloodfest begin.
Back on the "Destroyer", Decimus didn't even look at the other clockwork; he simply stood there, awaiting a command.

Re: World-Valencia
"Steady, now..." Sydney said, holding up one hand, ready to give the cue, her other hand gripping the railing as The "Destroyer" drew closer and closer to the pirate ship on the left.
"Snipers, Marksmen, be ready..."
Silence, tension, then...
"FIRE!"
The entire ship shook with the force of 24 of the ship's 48 guns going off in unison, and Sydney stumbled back to keep from falling before, like Ulysses, jumping the short distance between the ships and landing on the deck of the pirate ship on the left, the marines coming up from below decks and moving quickly to follow her onto the other ship.
She motioned to the musketeers to form one long firing line along the side of The "Destroyer" facing the pirate ship, effectively creating a sort of clockwork blockade.
"Don't let a single one of them across! Shoot them as they leap!"
And now, she thought, smiling, my massacre can begin.

Re: World-Valencia
Two swashbucklers immediately rushed at her, brandishing their weapons as they tried to overpower the newly named Armada Commodore...
Meanwhile, around them, Marines fought like they've never been before, easily slaughtering anyone that dared to face them in combat. Even the usually strongest buccaneers had been rendered like meat for slaughter before those clockworks: as soon as them or pirate musketeers tried to attack, the Marines clustered together, shields interlocked to form a nearly impenetrable barrier and allowing their enemies' weapons to bounce off the shield wall before separating again...
On the other hand, Decimus had raised his rifle to his mask/face, his target being a pirate that was currently trying to sneak up behind Sydney.
Bang! His rifle went off and immediately rendered the pirate dead, the bullet having penetrated the skull and into the brain.
The other pirates made their attempts to board, only to be shot dead the moment they were in the range of Sydney's musketeers.

Re: World-Valencia
Sydney jumped instinctively at the sound of a bullet whizzing directly behind her ear, but she smiled as she heard the thud of a body of flesh fall behind her.
Her clockworks were unwaveringly loyal, and she loved that. They would not backstab, they could not...
This is what I was meant for, Sydney thought, suppressing the urge to scream in a sick sort of joy as she swung her poleaxe back before spinning in a full circle, the omega-shaped blade slicing through bones and tendons and tissues, those flimsy, unreliable materials. How satisfying it was, to see the look of terror in their eyes when they caught a glimpse of her own grey eyes - and that would then be the last thing that they would ever see.

Re: World-Valencia
The swashbucklers fell like nothing before her, and was quickly followed by a buccaneer. He stepped valiantly, or, to be more exact, stupidly into her sight, "I will stop you, clockwork monster!" with those words, he swung his sword at her...
While she was busy doing that, Decimus calmly reloaded his rifle and sniped off another pirate, this time a privateer who had apparently been trying to rally the remaining humans..
Back on the "Interceptor", Ulysses laughed as he ripped through the ranks of opponents with his swords, a sickening sound that was more demonic than human.
Crossing his swords at one of the pirate's throat, he ripped the blades in opposite directions, cackling in insane joy as the head was severed, blood dousing his once spotless uniform.

Re: World-Valencia
They were dropping like flies, she found, and this gave her great pleasure indeed. They were at her mercy, her control.
Whirling around, she kicked down a female swashbuckler that had been trying to drive six barbed knives into her sides, planting a heeled boot on her chest after she had fallen and raising her axe high above her head.
"I think we're going down..."
And the swashbuckler's eyes grew wide as she finally realized that there was no escape for her, just as Sydney brought the blade of the axe down directly on her forehead, splitting her skull evenly in two, blood and brains spraying everywhere.
The Armada Commodore inhaled deeply, as if breathing in a pleasant fragrance, letting the sound, the sight of death wash over her. Oh dear, I'm quite addicted.

Re: World-Valencia
Decimus, while Sydney was mowing down the pirates, stayed on the "Destroyer" with the other musketeers, shooting any and all enemies that attempted to board.
Reloading his rifle, the sniper gazed once again into his targeting scope, ready to take down another pirate until the weapon was ripped roughly from his grip, himself knocked backward with a obnoxiously loud clang of his mechanical body as a witchdoctor removed the invisibility spell on them...
Meanwhile, on the other hand with Ulysses, the admiral had cleaned out the ship and was dueling the captain in a hand to hand sword fight.
Deflecting his enemy with one blade, Septimus thrust his other forward for the kill, though the pirate captain was agile enough to dodge the hit..

Re: World-Valencia
Quintus looked up sharply as he saw Decimus slam into the mast and the witchdoctor come into vision. The witchdoctor pulled what looked like a hybrid of a sickle and a machete out of his belt, beginning to advance on Decimus when Quintus slammed the butt of his gun onto the pirate's head and shooting him once in the back of his skull.

Re: World-Valencia
((Hey it's okay ))
Decimus got back up in an instant, giving what could be interpreted as a thankful nod to Quintus before quickly retrieving his own rifle, returning to the spot he was previously standing at and unloaded the shot into another pirate musketeer who was trying to shoot Sydney...
Ulysses growled, his eyes now purely murderous.
Ripping both swords free, he kicked the pirate in the guts, before thrusting his blades into the other's stomach and ripping them in opposite directions.

Re: World-Valencia
Quintus kicked away the body of the now - dead witchdoctor, returning to his original place beside Decimus, closely observing his grey-eyes Commander through his scope.
Said officer seemed like she was having the time of her life, often not using her poleaxe at all, choosing to kick her opponents down and then shatter their skulls with her foot.

Re: World-Valencia
Soon, every pirate onboard had been killed, leaving behind a deck stained with blood, innards, and corpses, while Sydney didn't even lose one clockwork against them.
"Commander, there are no more living organisms onboard the ship now."Decimus reported, "they've all been properly eradicated."

Re: World-Valencia
"Excellent," she said, leaping back onto the deck of the "Destroyer" and brushing her coat off, her Marines following her. She grimaced as she discovered a large clump of blood stuck to her white hair, shaking it off immediately.
"Oh, dear. This won't come out, will it..?" She mused softly to herself, turning to watch as the last marines came back over onto her ship.

Re: World-Valencia
Ulysses' frigate the "Interceptor" met up with hers only five minutes later, with the admiral himself also a mess, with the blood on his once spotless uniform as well.
"I see you've handled them well, Commodore, and I commend you for that."The admiral wasn't wearing his metal mask, so she could see his small though noticeable smile of approval, "let us return to Cadiz now and report to Lord Kane: I'm sure he would be delighted to hear of our results here."

Re: World-Valencia
A rush of thrill went through her, and she struggled to contain herself.
"Of course, I am also sure that he will be quite satisfied now that these imperfections have been wiped out."
This, she thought, seemed so distant two days ago, and now I'm living it.
