"No, more like there is a group of 12 of them, called the Pirate Lords: they serve as Horace Avery's top warriors, each of them hating the Armada with hate stronger than steel... They are all dangerous, hence why Lord Kane wants them all DEAD."

"I have never before heard of such a threat..." Sydney said, the corners of her mouth twitching in a half-smile-frown. "Of course, seeing as Lord Kane wishes them eliminated, we must do all that we can to see that they are."

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses held up a scroll: "Here is our first target, Jason Davenport." He unrolled it, showing a black haired swashbuckler in pure black clothing, his skin almost as pale as snow while his eyes were poisonous green...

Sydney nodded, a trace of a smirk sneaking onto her face. "Ah, yes, I have seen his profile before. He has a rather interesting character compared to most of the humans of the Resistance."

[Ulysses Septimus]

"And every bit as dangerous as any of them, but not impossible to crush."Ulysses' long fingers traced the words inscribed on the edge, "so it seems that this one has a preferred weaponry of a sword and a pistol, along with the style of sweeping in to finish an opponent... Hmm, this shall make things interesting."

[Sydney Underhill]

"Have we tracked his location, or is that a task that still needs to be completed?" Sydney asked, imagining all the possible ways that their new target would attempt to attack her in the midst of combat.

[Ulysses Septimus]

"We know where he is now,"Ulysses' voice bled in a trace of disgust, "he is hiding out right now in Skull Island, with the other 11 pirate lords."

[Sydney Underhill]

Sydney seemed to ponder the information that had just been given to her, weighing out the differences. Skull Island was known by the Armada as the haven of the Resistance, meaning nearly all of their residents would be part of or a supporter of the Resistance. However...

"So they're all in one place, hmm? Not very wise of them..."

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses leaned against the wall, "Commodore, I do plan to launch a little house cleaning, before Lord Kane sends in the rest to complete the Grand Design: however, I am interested to hear how you plan to handle those barbarians."

He clicked his fingers at Sentus Optimus, who offered him a hologram projector. "But I must mention, each of those pirate lords have their own fighting style and weaknesses."

[Sydney Underhill]

"And so we have their weaknesses as well..." Sydney said, the voice inside her head practically screaming How easy can this get, but she did not dare to speak her thoughts aloud, for now.

[Ulysses Septimus]

"Let us leave in 3 hours then, with the aide of night, we can strike them at their least expecting point."

[Sydney Underhill]

"Excellent," Sydney said, her mind instantly making a list of the possible strategies that would jab the pirates in their metaphorical Achilles' heel. "Shall I take leave to make the necessary preparations?"

[Ulysses Septimus]

"It would be wise and excellent, commodore."Ulysses nodded in approval, "I shall be off preparing my ship and crew as well: perhaps meet again at the docking bay when the time comes around?"

[Sydney Underhill]

"Excellent. I shall as well, Admiral."

Motioning to Quintus, who had been standing behind her, Sydney turned swiftly and started towards the docks, her red-sailed ship in sight.

"All right, knowing Skull Island, there won't be a lot of concealed areas or places to hide. Marines are probably our best bet in terms of troops..."

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses stepped onto his ship, gesturing for Sentus Optimus to come closer as he issued his orders: "Organize the Dragoons, Battle Angels, and Marines: there are few places we can place snipers at, hence close combat soldiers are perhaps the best."

His lieutenant simply nodded, then stalked off to carry out Ulysses' commands. Ulysses focused on his soldiers before him, scanning over their ranks as most of them went off to prepare the Imperial Interceptor for combat.

Good, judging from their speed, they would be off to battle within a few hours at max.

"On the other hand..." Sydney thought aloud as she walked up the gangplank, "Musketeers would be useful if they were equipped with fire charges..."

Fire charges were a type of ammunition, as she remembered from her previous days as a privateer of the Resistance, and with their proper use, they could burn down entire towns. The only question was if their objective included destruction or not...

[Ulysses Septimus]

"Commander,"Decimus suddenly spoke up, "Lord Ulysses has given me private access to his armory: I believe I've seen a fairly numerous supply of such inside one of them."

[Sydney Underhill]

"Then load a decent amount of them," Sydney said, "and we shall bring with us around fifteen musketeers. Protected by the marines and armed with the fire charges, they will be destructive to an impossible degree."

[Ulysses Septimus]

((I swear, the internet connection here in China has a personal vendetta against me -_-))

Decimus nodded, marching off to carry out her command. Meanwhile, Ulysses had just returned from a visit to his personal armory; now clad in his Helmschmeid Drachen gear and new weapons. "Once the Commodore is ready, and night falls, we set sail."He commanded, resting himself in the leather high backed chair in his cabin.

((Yes, and I do apologize for the extreme lateness of this, my deteriorating memory seems to be getting worse))

Ulysses' black boots clacked against the metallic flooring of the hallway as he made his way down to the docking bay, sword and weapons strapped in their proper places, primed and ready.

Behind him strolled the female trooper Quintia, her claymore sword strapped to her back and her shield on her right arm. To his right was the Marine captain Sentus Optimus, emotionless and professional as ever.

Skull Island won't survive past next evening.

Sydney, who had been waiting for the Armada Admiral, met him halfway to the ships, Quintus at her right hand side and Servus Decimus at her left. Her poleaxe, its blade shaped like the letter omega, was gripped tightly in her right hand, seemed to gleam with malice despite the almost-complete absence of light.

"All is prepared, Admiral. We await orders to set sail."

[Ulysses Septimus]

"Excellent," Ulysses nodded approvingly, "Lord Kane has given me command of two Royal Guard squadrons as well: all is in our favor then... Let us board the ships." As he stepped aboard the Interceptor, a dark chuckle escaped his lips, "Skull Island won't stand past next evening."

Indeed, because what can stop them now? Just Ulysses alone had been given command of three separate ships for this mission, each of them equipped with no less than 50 guns each: the first, his personal ship the Interceptor, his personal flagship the Malevolence, and Kane's own precious battle cruiser the Destroyer.

Three ships, each filled to the max by troopers and Assassins under Ulysses' banner.

Three ships, equipped with top notch weaponry and armor.

Three tanks, tools of pure doom and destruction.

"Raise anchor! Set course for Skull Island!"

Upon hearing the Admiral's words, Sydney, who was standing on the deck of the Executioner, her own precious red-sailed ship, turned to her crew, passing on the commands.
The clockworks on deck, efficient as ever, immediately rushed to raise the anchor and set the course, and the air quickly filled with the sounds of turning gears and the slight clanking of metal.
It was a sound that the pirates, if not already, would learn to fear by the end of this, she knew.

[Ulysses Septimus]

Ulysses reemerged from his cabin, having donned a new battlemask that was a ghostly copy of Kane's own face (even the eye sockets had been covered up by black, one way visors to create the illusion of him being a clockwork).

"How long until we reach Skull Island, Captain Optimus?"

"Lord Ulysses, we have set course for one of the fastest ways into Skull Island," the Marine replied, as stiff as ever, "at this speed, we would be there within four hours at the slowest."

Septimus stole one glance at the golden pocketwatch he carried: 8 PM sharp, then they would be there at the height of night, where no one expects an attack.
