Re: Roleplay Thread
After a few hours, all squadrons had finished searching Skull Island and killing any and all pirates they could find. Now, all squadrons were boarding onto the ships.
Re: Roleplay Thread
Ulysses stood at the stern of his flagship, his fingers twitching almost nervously in his lap as the Supreme Commander's mind was clouded by the haze of anger.
While they had won indeed, they also failed to find the two men he had came here for.

Re: Roleplay Thread
They had to continue searching....Those two men MUST be found....If not, then the whole cleansing plan wasn't worth nearly as much....
True, he had killed Avery, which was a valuable victory itself. And many pirates were also taken down by the Armada's forces, which was also good.
But without those two specific pirates that he was after....

Re: Roleplay Thread
How Atticus Mercilus and Adrian Devereaux escaped was far beyond Ulysses, for as far as he was concerned, his soldiers had every corner of the island searched!
Re: Roleplay Thread
....Unless.......They must have escaped some time before the attack on Skull Island begun...! But where could they have gone...?!
Re: Roleplay Thread
Adrian Deveraux.. Atticus Mercilus.
Both of those names echoed endlessly through Ulysses' mind, and every horrendous memory of what they had done unto him flashed before his eyes.
Especially of Devereaux himself.

Re: Roleplay Thread
They had to be caught....They just could NOT be kept alive.....He would not be at peace until they were both finally dead....
Re: Roleplay Thread
Especially Devereaux, the pirate who shared the same last name as the Captain Commander himself...
Re: Roleplay Thread
Certainly he would want Adrian dead just as much as Ulysses did....
And with how he has handled missions so far, maybe that could work in his favor.

Re: Roleplay Thread
It was then the comm link between Valdus and Ulysses switched on.
"Captain Commander: I have a mission for you, ensure it is done... I want you to find and hunt down the pirate Adrian Devereaux, do whatever is needed and drag that bastard back to me, alive..."

Re: Roleplay Thread
There was a pause, only for a few seconds, before the Supreme Commander heard a response.
"As you wish. I'll make sure he is brought to you as soon as possible, Supreme Commander."

Re: Roleplay Thread
"Grazie."
With that, the comm link went silent -
It was almost embarrassing, to say the least, to share a surname with a bloody pirate, no?

Re: Roleplay Thread
That could be at least one reason why he would want Adrian dead....Probably a very prominent reason, too.
That just ensures even more that he would do everything in his power to complete the mission.

Re: Roleplay Thread
(blurgh after this got to get off XP)
As the ships docked into the docking areas in Cadiz, Ulysses had stepped off first, after a few brief words of thanks to his elites; sweeping toward the massive office now belonging to him.

Re: Roleplay Thread
Valdus stepped off of his own ship, and headed to his chambers to not only change into a cleaner pair of clothes, but to plan where to search first for Adrian Devereaux.
((Aww, okay. Don't forget to check this roleplay tomorrow!))

Re: Roleplay Thread
Ulysses had taken off the bloodied mask when he reached his new office, half collapsing into the chair behind the desk.
He never felt so old before.

Re: Roleplay Thread
Valdus took off his own mask and simply stared at it for a few moments before setting it down on his desk.
'That pirate.....Adrian, I think his name was.....He may share the same surname as myself, but we are, and never will be, alike in any way. He's just a filthy piece of pirate scum like the rest. And I'll make sure he's captured and taken to the Supreme Commander.'
With that thought in mind, he spread out some papers and set to work on a plan.

Re: Roleplay Thread
And indeed Adrian was a piece of scum -
"Captain Commander?" It was the voice of one of the marines that had spoken. "Lord Deacon thought you might have some use for the pirate's criminal profile."

Re: Roleplay Thread
"Yes, I could certainly use any information I can obtain on the pirate."
He stood and strode over to the marine to receive the information.

Re: Roleplay Thread
The Armada marine passed two scrolls over to Valdus, one of them being Atticus' profile, the other Adrian.
At one glance of Adrian's profile, it becomes clear that why Ulysses wanted him dead:
Multiple murder charges, including the murder of a pregnant woman, attempted to sabotage the Beachhead station, as well as assaulting Armada officers.

Re: Roleplay Thread
Valdus gave brief thanks to the marine before returning to his desk, looking over Adrian's profile. Adrian had to be awfully skilled to be able to get away with all of this....And this would certainly be a challenge for him to complete. Not that he was complaining, anyways, he always appreciated a challenge every now and then.
Re: Roleplay Thread
Or incredibly lucky, just one of those rats who happened to have a large streak of luck, for it is almost impossible to get away with those under Valencian justice, no?
Re: Roleplay Thread
The latter seemed much more likely, as only some with that much luck could successfully evade the Armada for so long.
After taking one more look at Adrian's profile, he decided to glance over Atticus' as well.

Re: Roleplay Thread
Atticus was almost as bad as him, if not worse -
He had been the one to aide Adrian in orchestrating the murder of Kane, sold out Valencian military secrets to Polaris, and a long list of other crimes that could take years to read.
However, it soon became clear how he managed to evade the Armada for that long.
Atticus was also the leader of the anarchist group the Knights Templar.

Re: Roleplay Thread
Upon reading all this, he felt a mix between slight concern and rage. He had a large part in the attack on Valencia. In the death of Kane! A part of him wanted to go find this bastard instead of Adrian, but he knew that he had to follow orders and track down Adrian first.
But if he found Atticus alongside Adrian, he was NOT going to hesitate in capturing him as well. Surely the new Supreme Commander, Ulysses, would have an ideal punishment for the both of them!
